Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser; “local storage” does the same job in a different way. The law treats both alike, and so do we. Ride-Now.ie keeps only what is needed to sign in and to book a journey — nothing that follows you around the web.
Necessary cookies always active
Set by ride-now.ie only for people who sign in or use a hotel desk link. A visitor who just reads the website gets none of them. They are secure, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and hold no personal details — only a random key that opens the right page.

Kept in your own browser, never sent anywhere on its own. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Outside services no cookies from us
Some parts of a page are fetched from trusted services. They set no cookies through our pages, but like any website they receive your device's IP address when your browser asks them for something:
- The typeface — Plus Jakarta Sans comes from Google Fonts. On the booking page it loads only if you choose “accept all”; choose “essential only” and the request is never made.
- Maps, addresses and routes — map pictures from OpenFreeMap, address search from Photon and OpenStreetMap, routes from OSRM, and the map code from unpkg — only when a page shows a map or you search for an address.
- Card payments — when you pay online, the card form comes from our payment provider (SumUp, or Stripe). It may set its own cookies on that step, needed for secure payment and fraud checks, under the provider's own policy. We never see or store card numbers.
Functional, analytics, performance & advertising not used
Ride-Now.ie uses none of these. If that ever changes, this page will list each cookie first, and nothing outside “necessary” will be set until you have said yes.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. Blocking the necessary ones means a portal cannot keep you signed in and a booking cannot be remembered, but the public pages still work.
