Booking & cancellation policy

1 · Passenger cancellation
Free cancellation
- You may cancel within 2 minutes of your driver accepting the ride, with no fee.
- Cancelling is always free while your driver has not yet started travelling towards your pickup.
After 2 minutes, once your driver is on the way
€5cancellation fee for standard rides. The app shows you this fee clearly, and asks you to confirm, before any cancellation is charged.
No fee is ever charged when
- your driver has not started travelling toward the pickup;
- your driver is significantly delayed — for example 5+ minutes beyond the expected arrival;
- your driver is not making reasonable progress toward the pickup;
- your driver asks you to cancel for their convenience;
- the ride cannot proceed because of a driver or platform issue.
2 · Driver cancellation
A driver may cancel without penalty when:
- the passenger is not at the pickup location after the waiting period;
- the passenger requests something unsafe or illegal;
- the passenger's behaviour presents a safety or security issue;
- the pickup location is inaccessible or unsafe;
- the party exceeds the vehicle's permitted capacity;
- the platform supplied incorrect pickup information.
3 · Passenger no-show
- Your driver arrives at the pickup point.
- The app automatically confirms the arrival using GPS.
- A 5-minute free waiting period begins.
- Your driver can contact you through the app at any time.
- After 5 minutes, the driver may mark “Passenger didn't show”.
- A €5 no-show fee applies to the passenger.
- The driver receives the applicable compensation.
4 · Fair play
Ride-Now rule: drivers must never ask or pressure passengers to cancel a trip in order to avoid a driver cancellation or to obtain a cancellation fee.
Ride-Now monitors for repeated driver-initiated cancellations, repeated requests for passengers to cancel, GPS anomalies, and drivers repeatedly stopping far from pickup locations — accounts showing these patterns are flagged for review.
