What we look for

• The right insurance for carrying paying passengers.
• A smartphone — jobs come to you in the driver app.
• A good, courteous manner with passengers.

NTA requirements: needed before your account is approved

You can apply and open your account without these to hand. Every item below must be filed with us before your account is approved and you can take jobs.

You

• A current NTA SPSV driver licence: the number on your driver display card, and its expiry date.
• A full driving licence: its number and expiry date.
• Your home address.

Your car

• A current NTA SPSV vehicle licence (taxi, hackney or limousine): its number, its expiry date and the name of the licence holder.
• The car's registration.
• Insurance for carrying paying passengers (hire and reward): the insurer, policy number, policyholder and expiry date.

To stay active, keep them current. If your SPSV driver or vehicle licence runs out, the app stops offering you jobs until the renewal is on file with us.
